Hi Naomi! I really like your newsletter, especially the variety of posts on so many interesting topics. The visuals are so fun. Loved the embroidery-inspiring items in this entry-- especially the gorgeous 17th century pocketbook. Look forward to future newsletters!
Love your confession to “irrational snootiness when it comes to celebrity book clubs”! And I’m going to add your book recs to my very long list of books to order from the library… I’m eager to read your next substack submission…
I can’t think of anyone I’d want to read and have in my inbox more than you! Remember when we watched Pride and Prejudice together while my toddler twins slept in the other room? It gives me a lot of joy to know you’re writing. Speaking from experience, when you have a chronic illness, writing is one of the most therapeutic tools at hand. I’m excited to read and discuss and share!
Hi Reda- it is so great to hear from you. I sure do remember watching P&P with you! The twins must be teens now (mind blown). I am always excited to connect with others who have a chronic illness, especially you :). Writing has been extremely therapeutic, I finally figured that out after getting over my paralyzing fear of it.
